Social Action

Social Action aids in informing chapter members and the wider Greater Lansing community about critical political and social subject matters that directly affect our community.

The first act of our sorority was to participate in the Suffrage March in 1913 for women voting rights; therefore, within this same fervor, we support opportunities for all citizens to exercise their right to vote. This committee has been on the frontline of informing voters of candidate initiatives and registering hundreds of voters each year.

This committee also attends Delta Days at the Nation’s Capital as well as the State Capital in order to gain information and educate others about their role in the public policy-making process.
